By: Dinosorceror

| Daryn never imagined things would turn out as they are. Even the halls of Lava Dome Two looked different in this altered reality: darker and dingier, almost by design. Yet he had been the avian scientist on Reptilon, of the same species as Teryx, who had devised the wormhole propulsion device that went terribly wrong during its test flight and dropped him into this parallel universe with no hope of returning.

| As soon as he had made an emergency landing on Earth, he knew something was wrong. The human cities were in ruin, sometimes gone altogether. The only place he could think of to seek help was Lava Dome Two, the Dinosaucers secret base on Earth, but it was the worst place he could've gone. There were no Tyrannos in this universe, only the Dinosaucers, and they were more depraved and evil than any Tyranno had ever been. They made quick work of him, and his invention. They intended to keep him alive long enough to learn how to use the drive to travel to and conquer other parallel realities.

| Daryn stepped into Allo's quarters, and saw that Bronto-Thunder was there as well. He shivered, as Bronto was without a doubt the most cruel of all the inhabitants of the Dome. Daryn's right leg, at last count, had seven healed fractures caused by the huge saurian's weight. "Y-you wanted to see me, Allo?" Daryn chirped meekly, trying to straighten out the rags he wore.

| "Oh, I don't want to SEE you, you feathery ball of lint. It's that time again, and I want to FEEL you," Allo said, swiveling in his chair.

| Bronto-Thunder chuckled lowly, standing beside Allo. Daryn closed his eyes for a moment, and then approached Allo, kneeling before him. "I tell you, Bronto-Thunder," Allo rumbled, "the talents of this worthless bird are wasted on your science project. There's no other slave we own that cares for your claws better."

| Daryn began to remove Allo's latex overshoes, gently breaking away a thin layer of grime that had accumulated around the edge. As most of Allo's three-toed foot was exposed, and since Lava Dome Two was always filthy, his thick claws held a lot of dirt on their surface, above and below.

| "Are you kidding?" Bronto-Thunder replied, watching Daryn with only a passing interest. "If he were to try and clean under MY footclaws, I don't think he could stand the weight of just one of mine!"

| Daryn whimpered, hearing Bronto-Thunder's words, as he opened his beak to extend his tongue to the top of Allo's left foot. In time, the odor and taste of saurian feet became something Daryn could bear, as he had little choice. His tongue licked long strokes across the top of Allo's footclaw, erasing the dirty edge his overshoe had created.

| Allo leaned back in the chair, closing his eyes and murring pleasantly, sighing. "Oh, but these birds feel so soft and feathery underfoot, B-T...there's no other slave species better suited to the task. Isn't that right, slave?"

| Daryn only withdrew his tongue from the scaly foot long enough to reply to his owner. "Yes, master," he said dryly and quickly before extending his tongue to the other foot. Allo wriggled his toes, the jam and dirt between them making a sickly dry sound, and it was Daryn's cue to stick his tongue between the allosaur's toes, which he did, swallowing the grime he found there.

| "Now it's time for you to assume your place, slave," Allo said, opening his eyes and sneering at Daryn. Daryn dared not sigh, and only laid down, turning over on his back, his beaked face to one side between Allo's heavy footclaws. With his upturned eye, he could see the sole of Allo's right clawfoot raise up beside him, hover for a few moments above him, and then slowly lower, pressing the warm and scaly footsole across his entire head.

| "Mmmmmm," Allo rumbled. "See what I mean, Bronto-Thunder? His feathers feel wonderful under my foot. And it feels great, knowing that all I would have to do is press down a little in order to end his worthless life."

| Daryn began to reach up with his bony, clawed hands and rub the foot which pinned his head. "Please, master...don't crush me! Let me continue to serve you!"

| Bronto-Thunder chuckled, and got down on his hands and knees, craning his head to see the expression on Daryn's face under Allo's mighty foot. "If you promise to complete this...this 'quantum lens' you keep mentioning to us today, maybe Allo won't feel the need to crush your tiny little head. What do you say?" he laughed.

| It was difficult for Daryn to hear clearly, but he understood. "Of course! Anything, just let me live!"

| Allo twisted his foot back and forth a few times before raising it off the squirming Daryn's head. "Absolutely, then! After all, if this 'lens' is as powerful as you say it is, Daryn, it'll be much more fun to have your entire body under my foot at once!" he laughed. Bronto-Thunder began to speak to Allo about other matters, while Daryn continued to remain on the floor, as he had not been dismissed. Allo occasionally stroked Daryn with one of his feet, allowing the bird to lick under his foot. Eventually, he kicked Daryn away, and he skittered out of the room, as Allo and Bronto-Thunder were done with their fun for the day.

| The quantum lens that Daryn was working on was almost complete. He knew it would open up a whole new world of misery for the remaining inhabitants of Earth, and should he perfect the wormhole drive it would mean the destruction of countless worlds, but Daryn was broken and tired. He did what he was told, for he had felt the power of Allo's feet when he had been angered, and it was not something he cared to feel again.
