Why I use a tablet!
I use a tablet because it's much easier to draw lines and to get the lines perfect. Mice make jagged edged lines and they have no pressure to them. Here is Tablet and Mouse to show you the difference between the two.

: See! My lines are darker! I win this one!

They may be darker, but they are jagged and have no finesse! :

With a mouse we can see that there is no pressure sensitivity using the pen tool with the mouse.
This is good for making solid straight lines and filling in solid color, however it won't allow you to do a good quality image with the neat effects most people use.
Also it's harder to make a desired perfect shape, you have to spend too much time going slow.

:Ha! Pressure Sensitivity CRASH!

*Mouse reels back* ARG! So you can blend! I'll still get you in the next turn! :

Here we see the difference in the water color tool. While initially the mouse and the tablet seem equal we can see however that the tablet uses it's Pressure Sensitivity power and can add small feathery highlights and can pull the color subtley onto the canvas.
