Zed:
Slender dark-green Anthroraptor
Ahastar:
Feral white demon-raptor with red stripes
They met at a clearing in the woods. Zed grinned toothily at Ahastar, the two raptors standing about ten feet from one another. Zed had his pouch on his waist and dagger in hand, the green-scaled thief prepared to defend his day's loot from the half-demon before him. Ahastar's nude form exposed his white scales and red belly, but the hybrid had claws extended, ready to lash at the criminal blocking his way. The demon lunged first as he leaped into the air with lightning speed and knocked Zed to the ground, ripping the dagger from the raptor's hand. Gems and other valuables loudly clattered together from the impact, while Zed looked up in alarm at the demon-raptor pinning him to the ground.
Now it was Ahastar's turn to grin, his teeth bared as he hissed at the green-scaled beast beneath him. Saliva dripped hotly onto Zed's face as he looked up into the aggressor's maw. Though the raptor tried to squirm free, the weight of Ahastar's body was enough to hold him to the ground. Ahastar held Zed's left paw tightly, but that still allowed Zed's right hand to reach slowly toward his bag. Zed knew that he'd have only one chance to grab something and only hoped it hadn't broken when he was thrown to the ground. The demon was too busy grinning and savoring the raptor's fear to notice as Zed's paw wrapped around a cold, glass object and carefully lifted it free. It was intact, Zed noted, grinning softly as well. Ahastar took that grin to be a peaceful surrender to death and lunged forward, his teeth ready to dig into Zed's neck.
In a flash, Zed pulled a flask forward and pressed it right against Ahastar's muzzle.
With a stunned screech, Ahastar bit into the glass, shattering the bottle's neck. The demon's surprise allowed Zed to roll over and push Ahastar to the ground, allowing the flask's contents – a cold, bitter, blue fluid – to roll directly into the demon's throat. Most of the glass bounced harmlessly against their scales, but some shards embedded themselves in Ahastar's mouth, making the demon try to cough them free. But Zed firmly clamped the demon's muzzle shut with both paws, forcing him to swallow the fluid even as the glass tore against his throat.
The demon felt oddly weak as he tried to get the raptor off him after he swallowed, but the weight seemed to be more than he could move now. Indeed, the raptor seemed larger upon him, his scales thicker, his teeth increasingly threatening. Growling and making one last desperate effort, Ahastar tried to buck his entire body against Zed, but the green raptor just smiled coolly as the demon only exhausted himself trying to push out from under his chest. Zed stood up after Ahastar was too tired to move, but instead of merely standing a few feet higher, he seemed to tower hundreds of feet into the sky! Ahastar shook his muzzle to try and clear his vision, but then he noticed other things around him: the grass that he'd ignored earlier came up to his chest, flowers loomed over him like trees, and pebbles that have otherwise gone completely unnoticed were now large enough for him to curl up on to sun himself.
Seeing the changes around him, Ahastar could think of exactly one thing to do: run and pray that his tiny size would keep Zed from following him. But his white scales stood out clearly against the brown dirt and vibrant green grass, and all Zed had to do was lean down and set his paw in front of Ahastar, as Zed's green scales blended in well with the grass. Ahastar ran into the paw without even seeing it, and Zed clenched his fist tightly around the half-breed, causing another nervous screech to come from the shrunken creature. There were no words exchanged; the raptor just lifted the tiny being to his muzzle and grinned again, flashing his teeth dangerously. Each of those razor-sharp teeth was larger than the hybrid's entire body, and Ahastar could already imagine their sharp points piercing between his scales, tearing into his flesh, ripping his muscles and bones apart violently.
Instead, Zed threw Ahastar into his mouth like a mere piece of candy, letting the shrunken scalie land upon his thick tongue. The atmosphere was already warm and humid, but became significantly moreso after Zed closed his muzzle. Though the half-demon was used to the heat of hell, the thick air within a raptor's muzzle was uncomfortable, hot enough to sap his energy and make him feel weaker still. In frustration, Ahastar tried to dig his claws into the tongue, but as soon as he heard the deafening roar from the raptor he realized he'd made a mistake. Only a few drops of blood dripped from the wounds, but the raptor could taste it and felt he needed to punish the demon. Not by chewing him – no, that would be a quick death – but by something even more painful, something that would last for much longer. Zed grinned to himself as he came up with a perfect idea and slid Ahastar toward his throat, feeling the saliva-slick miniraptor slip backward.
Once the half-breed was at the very back of his muzzle, Zed opened his muzzle, and gave Ahastar a look directly down the raptor's throat. It was a glistening, pink tube that quickly faded into darkness, even though Ahastar knew exactly where that tunnel led. The smell of the predator's stomach wafted up, which stung the half-demon's nostrils and made him recoil in fear. He turned around and looked forward, out of the raptor's snout, to look out at the world again. The view of the trees was still framed by teeth, tongue, and muzzle, those pink surfaces shimmering as if covered in gems. The demon tried to climb forward, but Zed simply tilted his muzzle back further, which caused Ahastar to slide back against the throat. Several moments later, the green raptor chuckled coldly, closed his muzzle again, and swallowed the tiny creature whole. The sound reverberated around Ahastar as he was pulled into the raptor's tight throat, the muscles immediately gripping him with crushing intensity.*
Ahastar desperately tried to climb free, digging his claws into the rippling flesh around him, but Zed only swallowed again and the wave of muscle crushed his hands flat. The demon roared as his his once-deadly paws were rendered completely useless as they dangled from his wrists, all the bones shattered, blood dripping from a few cracks in the skin. The throat continued to give the hell-beast a tight grip, such that his chest and ribs nearly collapsed with each peristaltic movement, each squeeze forcing air from Ahastar's lungs. Under the increasing pressure, the demon could just barely breathe, and the stench of Zed's stomach grew stronger with every breath he took. The rhythmic thud of Zed's heartbeat and steady churning of his stomach were all that Ahastar could hear as he slid down the slimy throat, natural lubrication clinging to his scales.
It was several minutes before the demon descended into the final circle of hell within Zed's body: the stomach. The sphincter opened up steadily around Ahastar's tail, and though he made a last, desperate attempt to jump free and cling to something, he was rudely forced through and feel free for several moments before landing with a splash in the raptor's stomach acids. The demon hissed in pain as the digestive goo splashed against his scales, coating him in the deadly fluid. Some of it splashed right into his muzzle as he cried out in pain, swiftly dissolving his soft tongue and leaving him no way to speak at all. It flowed into his cloaca and tailhole as well, starting to burn him from the inside out. The fluid also seeped between his scales, starting to burn them away at the root, causing them to fall away from his body. The stomach's steady churning washed fluid over Ahastar's snout again and again, covering his face, burning his eyes, singing his nostrils, and causing his once-proud red feathers atop his head to fall away in ruin.
There was no light within the large, green raptor's body, but Ahastar didn't need to see his body being digested, not that he could once the acids burned his eyes out of their sockets and left him permanently blind. In another few moments, the demon-raptor's olfactory nerves were also destroyed, mercifully taking away his ability to smell the acids around him. But the rest of his body could still feel and the burning and stinging grew continually stronger as his flesh started to burn away from his muscles. The fluid splashed down his nose and into his lungs, slowly stripping away the demon's ability to breathe. Across his entire body, pain receptors peaked, then burnt out entirely as they were dissolved, the wave of pain steadily moving up Ahastar's body, then fading away entirely. Blood soon started to leak through his flesh, his very life energy draining into the predator's stomach. Ahastar continued to struggle, but without his senses functioning and his muscles starting to burn away, his movements became weak, erratic, and rigid. It was still enough movement to create an air bubble, causing Zed to belch loudly, the sound echoing loudly around the half-digested creature. It was the last sound Ahastar heard as the acids burned through his eardrums, leaking through the gap into his brain.
Soon, the acids burned through to Ahastar's heart and dissolved it, leaving no blood flowing through the raptor's body. That was finally enough to bring his life to an end. Zed's body continued to digest the afternoon snack, gaining a few calories and minerals from the once-sentient creature. By now, Zed had completely forgotten about the attack; his only memory of Ahastar was just a pleasant feeling of warmth in his stomach as he went on his way.
