About Me

So who are you really?

Behind every fantasy identity or alias of everyone in the furry fandom, there lies a real person. In my case, the real RipRoarRex is actually an ordinary human male from England. (Sorry to shatter the illusion!)

I have been interested in art for most of my lifetime. I have a few UK qualifications in Fine Art as well as plenty of years of experience drawing, painting and animating. I took up digital artwork in 2007 and have worked to steadily improve my standard over the years.

And in spite of some of the weird, twisted stuff that I draw, I'm really just a pretty normal, placid sort of chap. So feel free to say hello if you see me around in the fandom!

What's your real name?

I'm afraid my real name is a secret as far as the furry fandom is concerned. Not that I wish to offend anybody, but it is not something I am prepared to divulge - nor do I tell people exactly where I live. The only name that I ever use in the fandom is RipRoarRex.

Why do you keep your identity secret?

The reason I do not share more details about my real identity is because my RipRoarRex alias is very much tied to the unusual themes of my work which most people would probably find too bizarre or disturbing to understand. Hence, it is not something I particularly want my real jobseeking, Facebooking, Twittering self to be associated with in public!

About this site, fetishes and the furry fandom

What on earth is this site all about anyway?

RipRoarRex's Realm is largely a showcase for my artwork within the furry and scaly fandom. It is an adult site covering a range of related themes and sexual fetishes therein.

What is the 'furry fandom'?

A highly inadequate term - that's what it is.

'Furry fandom' refers to an enormously diverse range of people who have some level of interest in anthropomorphic animals or non-human species. The extent and nature of that interest varies considerably between individuals.

Since I first became part of the furry fandom, I have come to observe four broad categories of 'furry' which could loosely be identified as follows (in my own terms):

  • Casual Furs - people who simply find a lot of enjoyment in the idea of anthropomorphism or cartoon animals. These types of furs probably just find furry characters very cute or like the fun, colourful nature of creating fantasy furry characters. This is one of the reasons why the term 'furry' is rather insufficient, because literally millions of people could be said to "find cartoon animals cute" or "enjoy drawing anthropomorphic animals". Whether such a person defines themselves as a 'furry' is probably down to their own individual perception.
  • Roleplayers and Fursuiters - people who enjoy pretending to be a furry animal character, ranging from merely chatting or roleplaying in character to dressing up in fursuits as a means of 'becoming' the character in question. There is something of a misconception that 'fursuiting' is all about having sex (or 'yiff', in a furry context) whilst in costume, but to my knowledge, this does not apply to the majority of fursuiters.
  • Furry Fetishists - perhaps less attractively known to some as 'furverts'. In the broadest sense, this category refers to people whose interest in the fandom carries a sexual element. This may mean that they are somewhat sexually attracted to anthropomorphic or cartoon animals or have a more niche sexual attraction to a particular sub-fetish in a furry context - such as animal feet/paws, for example.
  • Otherkin - whilst this is not something I have much knowledge of, my understanding of this category is that the people in question actually believe themselves to be animals - or the spirits of animals - who are within human bodies. I have observed this to be a more spiritualistic type of 'furry', though I do not know enough about it to describe it in more detail.

Hence why the term 'furry' and 'furry fandom' are rather vague, because they encompass such a broad and varied range of people that it is difficult to know exactly what type of individual the term most accurately describes.

Being honest, I would probably most closely identify myself with the third type, given that my primary existence in the furry fandom revolves around sexual elements. However, I think I - and indeed most furries - could probably identify with the first category as well.

What is a 'furry fetish'?

I would describe a furry fetish as any element of sexual attraction towards an anthropomorphic or cartoon animal chracter - for example, Disney characters, video game characters, mascots etc.. Whether the term exists in wide use is difficult to say, but most people would probably understand it in these terms.

Is furry fetishism the same thing as bestiality?

No - or at least not to the vast majority of those who might consider themselves to have a furry fetish.

Whilst I cannot speak for everyone, the crucial difference between furry and bestiality (or indeed zoophilia) is an anthropomorphic, fantasy element. The animals in question are not animals as they exist in the real world - they are much more akin to humans, be it through a humanoid physical form or merely human-like intelligence, cleanliness and social interaction. To put it crudely, having sex with a furry character would probably be better understood as having sex with a human who happens to have some characteristics of a different animal.

And of course, unlike bestiality, it is based upon pure fantasy, because such creatures simply do not exist. While I cannot necessarily speak for all furries, most would have absolutely no interest or intention in having sex with an animal in the real world.

Having said that, it is possible for individuals who experience such attraction to 'furry' characters to also experience feelings more akin to zoophilia - even if they have absolutely no interest in committing such acts in reality. In truth, where an individual 'draws the line' is pretty much up to them, but in no way should all furries or 'furry fetishists' be thought of in this same way.

What fetishes do you have?

The content of this website covers a wide variety of fetishes within a furry context which I personally am interested in. Each one involves many different elements, therefore other people who have the same fetishes might have particular preferences or enjoy them in a different way.

Some of the fetishes covered by the content of this website include:

  • Foot fetish (podophilia) - attraction towards feet (or animal paws). A 'paw fetish' is, in essence, a furry equivalent of a human foot fetish. Interest in feet can range from a simple attraction or curiosity towards them, to a desire to worship them or interact with them in some capacity (such as sniffing feet, licking/kissing feet, sucking toes or 'footjobs'), and even extends into other areas such as stomping and crushing.
  • Crush fetish - attraction towards the fantasy of being crushed/trampled, observing other objects/creatures being crushed, or in some cases crushing an object/creature oneself. Interest in this fetish can range from the 'soft crush' variety (crushing inanimate objects, or alternatively stomping creatures in a way that is not harmful) to the 'hard crush' variety (harming or killing live creatures by crushing them, often including blood/gore).
  • Vore (vorarephilia) - attraction towards the fantasy of being eaten/chewed/swallowed/digested, observing other objects/creatures being eaten, or in some cases eating a creature onself Interest in this fetish can range from the 'soft vore' variety (eating inanimate objects, or alternatively being chewed/ingested in a way which is not harmful) to the 'hard vore' variety (harming or killing live creatures by chewing them or digesting them). Digestion is in itself something of a sub-fetish. Note that the term vore is also applied to other areas involving ingestion within other parts of the body other than the mouth, such as 'anal vore' or 'cock vore'.
  • Macro (macrophilia) - attraction towards giant creatures. Strictly speaking, the term 'macro' only refers to creatures that are of a particularly large size, but the term can often be conceived of within other 'size difference' fantasies, such as being shrunk (otherwise known as 'micro'). Interest in this fetish is often combined with the others, such as being crushed/eaten by a giant, having sex with a much larger creature, or even just interacting with a giant's body in other ways.
  • Yiff - sexual interaction between 'furry' characters. Definitions and perceptions of this term vary between individuals - some would consider it the furry term for sex or sexual activity in all its forms, others would only interpret it as meaning actual sexual intercourse/penetration, and some others might view it as the real life act of having sex in a fursuit.

What is so attractive about feet? Especially smelly/dirty feet?

These are questions which most people would struggle to answer. Indeed, I myself have spent much time considering what the attraction is. However, though I have no actual scientific knowledge/evidence for my ideas and though I cannot speak for anyone else, I have come to some conclusions of my own.

While foot fetish may be conceived of merely as an attraction to the physical form of the foot, it is often interpreted within 'dom' (Dominant) and 'sub' (Subordinate or Submissive) scenarios.

Many people can be considered either a 'dom' sexual personality or a 'sub' sexual personality based on their sexual and social preferences. A dom personality enjoys possessing an element of authority or control over a sub, and a sub enjoys being controlled by a dom.

Given that I identify myself as a sub personality, I cannot really speak for the motivation or logic behind dominant sexual preferences. However, one theory that can be suggested for the appeal of being a sub lies in the very basic, primal instincts behind sex.

Put in very simple terms, we as humans crave the security and safety which is brought about by socialising and having relationships. As such, we are often attracted to others that we perceive to be strong or dependable, given that a relationship with them is likely to bring us the security and safety we instinctively desire. Of course, we all still have these instincts, but as humans and human society change over time, we have learned to identify those feelings and interpret them in different and more complex ways.

The perception of a prospective partner as 'strong' may take many different forms. For some, it is an attraction to muscular, physically powerful types. For others, it is an attraction to elements of a 'strong', confident character. And for others, it is based on an element of strength that comes from authority and social positions of power.

The attraction of being a sub can be considered in two forms. On the one hand, you feel wilful adulation for another person - you love them deeply, and will do anything to please them. Alternatively, you may feel a more forceful respect for them - you recognise their power over you and find it exciting to be in the presence of somebody so strong and commanding, not least because in a primal sense, having them as a partner would give you great security and safety due to their power or authority over any others that may threaten you.

One of the reasons foot fetish can be considered in 'dom' and 'sub' terms is because feet carry various meanings and connotations within human society and thinking. They are often considered unclean or otherwise low. To be 'at someone's feet' or to be 'underfoot' in any meaning is generally a reference to a position of submission or subordination.

As such, the submissive interpretation of a foot fetish is based upon viewing the other person (the dom) as a powerful figure, and their feet take on a symbolic representation of power. To be positioned at or under their feet is an admission of your inferiority and subordination, and a respect and attraction for their strength and power over you. As such, to worship someone's feet - particularly if they are unclean - is a further admission of your respect for the other person or their superiority over you, with the implication that you are not worthy of anything better.

Never discount the possibility though that the sub in question actually likes the smell of sweaty or dirty feet. Our bodies respond very differently to stimuli and some people (to an extent including myself) can find the scent pleasurable - in which case, the submissive element of being forced to worship smelly feet is more symbolic rather than the sub actually disliking the smell.

Though I do not have a personal understanding of this relationship from a 'dom' perspective as explained earlier, I should imagine it is rooted in enjoying the reverse of this scenario - to have someone or force someone to worship your feet is to establish your power and authority over them.

What is so attractive about crush/vore? Especially the violent kinds?

Again, this can be rooted in the dom and sub relationship explained above - though as mentione before, my understanding lies only in the submissive side. And crush, in all its forms, is a variation upon the idea of being submissive to the power of someone else.

To be stepped upon by somebody else is a physical act of submission - to quite literally allow them to 'walk all over you'. In a more extreme sense, if they are large enough or powerful enough to actually crush you, your submission is a physical one - your body itself cannot withstand their power and strength.

One thing that often confuses people about crush fetish is the thought that someone would actually be aroused by the thought of being harmed (or even killed) in this way. There may be some people out there whose trampling or crush fetish is based upon a physically masochistic fetish whereby their attraction is actually towards being caused pain by this method.

However, speaking from personal experience, the appeal of crush fetish is more within implication and fantasy. The appeal is not towards actually being crushed, but the suggestion and threat that your partner is powerful and strong enough to crush you. This may come from observing them crushing something (or indeed someone) else as a demonstration of their power, or it may come from the experience of them preparing to crush you - either from experiencing the moment where they stand over you with their foot raised, or even being stepped on and feeling enough pressure to recognise that they do possess sufficient weight and power to crush you.

In other words, you do not actually want to be crushed - you just like the idea that the person you are attracted to is strong enough to do it if they really wanted to, especially if they were to do it to someone else in your defence and use their colossal power to protect you. It is in that thought, albeit through a very strange and convoluted route, that the craving for security and safety can be satisfied in such fantasies.

Vore is a similar variation upon this same idea, but where the object of attraction is the mouth. To be eaten or swallowed by someone else is another form of submission - that you become nourishment for them, you become part of their body, a means of boosting them with more energy and power. Much like crush, this is not necessarily based on the idea of being eaten, but more the suggestion or threat of it - watching the person eat somebody else, or to dangle you over their open jaws, or even to seal you in their mouth.

What causes alarm for some outside observers of these fetishes is where they involve physical harm, especially blood and gore. The implication - and I would argue misconception - that some derive from this is that hard crush/vore fetishists find pleasure in seeing blood and guts.

Again, while I can't speak for everyone, I know this is not true for many. The blood and gore is not the subject of attraction itself - it is a symbol, a physical result of an extreme act of dominance and a significant demonstration of power. The fantasy of having a prospective partner who is capable of crushing someone to a bloody pulp is based on the attraction to that person's power, which the act serves to demonstrate in a way that makes a very strong impression.

One thing that must be remembered with these fantasies is that they are just that - fantasies. Part of the reason why people with such fetishes can enjoy imagining them is because there are no consequences. One can visualise or experience their prospective partner demonstrating incredible dominance and power without anyone or anything actually getting hurt. Put crudely, you escape into the idea, get your fix, and then everything goes back to normal afterwards without any harm done.

To this effect, the problem comes from those that decide to take such fantasies and make them reality. 'Hard crush' as a concept is highly controversial because there are some people who actually do cause suffering and harm to creatures - or even themselves - in real life for the purposes of acting out a crush fantasy. Alternatively, they are interested in observing such acts - be it through images, videos or in person - but remain desensitised and detached, as if what they are seeing is akin to movie special effects and not actually occuring in real life. This is not something I condone and I do not find it remotely appealing, nor do many crush fetishists out there - even those who are into 'hard crush' as a fantasy.

As such, though I may draw some violent pictures or come up with some disturbing ideas, they ultimately serve my purpose in a way that does nobody any harm.

So which of these fetishes are most appealing to you?

The appeal of any particular fetish to me will often vary depending on my mood at any particular time. My strongest sexual interest lies in feet in general - including sniffing, licking and footjobs - with a very strong preference for smelly/dirty feet.

I also have a strong crush fetish which is predominantly tilted towards the hard/violent variety. It also manifests itself in an absurdly diverse range of concepts. I can be sexually aroused by the idea of being crushed underfoot, crushed in jaws/teeth (i.e. hard vore), or even through someone crushing me using non-organic and inanimate objects such as heavy vehicles, car crushers, garbage compactors and other machines.

Beyond these areas, I have a more general interest in 'conventional' furry fetishism as well as some minor interest in other fantasies that can be conceived of within 'dom-sub' relationships, such as scat, torture or breath control.

How did your fetishes develop?

This is a question that I'm sure everyone with an unusual fetish has asked themselves before, and some are much easier to explain than others. While I probably can't explain why I developed these fetishes, I can recall a history of awareness of them - and in actual fact, I have been aware of them since I was a young child, even at six years old.

To be utterly crude and frank for a moment, I began 'masturbating' when I was six or seven. It's difficult to consider it 'masturbation' because I was not sexually mature, nor did I even have any real understanding of what I was doing or the connotations of it. What I do know however is that even at that age, I used to enjoy it, and there was an element of a 'climax' that I would now understand as an orgasm - even if my body wasn't actually capable of producing anything.

What I also know is that I somehow came to associate this act and the pleasure it brought with the sight or thought of feet, and of fantasies involving stomping/crushing and eating/chewing. I even remember drawing a picture of a human giant crushing a man underfoot which I 'used' to assist my imagination (a picture which, to this day, I do not know what happened to, and indeed whether anyone else ever found it!)

For whatever reason, I also came to establish the same association when imagining various animal and cartoon characters I would see on TV or in comics. I vividly recall being excited by various stomping scenes in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show cartoon show of the 1990s, particularly the 'Mario Meets Koopzilla' episode in which King Koopa has a sushi-induced growth spurt and goes on a city rampage. The same feelings continued to develop in response to other characters and TV shows/films, such as Jurassic Park, Godzilla and just about anything else featuring a copious amount of big dinosaur types stomping on things.

As I reached puberty and came to have a greater understanding of sex and fetishes, I began to realise that I was exhibiting a sexual response towards feet (or other fetishes) and furry animal or cartoon characters. At this point, I consciously began secretly drawing pictures for the specific purpose of satisfying my fetish with visual material, though it was not until I was in my late teens that I came to discover other people with the same preferences and the 'names' of such fetishes.

How did you discover the furry fandom?

Many people who have fetishes such as mine grow up believing for quite some time that they are alone with their unusual desires. As such, it is undoubtedly an enormous relief to discover that these fantasies are shared by others.

(If you are one such person to have discovered the fandom through this very website, I hope this has been enlightening for you!)

I was not aware of the existence of any kind of giant or crushing fetish until around 2005, when I happened to stumble across a late night Channel 4 documentary on giantessophilia - an attraction to giant women - and other related fetishes. For the first time, I realised that other people shared my sexual fantasies for giants or being stepped on. But it still did not explain why I often imagined animals and cartoon characters in sexual scenarios, or why I would fantasise about being crushed by Godzilla's feet instead of a human giantess - a variation which I continued to believe I was experiencing alone.

Having never had the luxury of my own private computer and internet connection for most of my youth, I had refrained from searching the internet for such material on our shared family computer for fear of it appearing somewhere in the internet history. Instead, I would browse the web on my mobile phone, often searching Google Images for terms like "dinosaur feet", "elephant crush", "animal foot stomp" and words to that effect. I did actually stumble across a number of 'interesting' images (some of which remarkably were hosted right here on the Lava Dome Five server) but the limited capabilities of my phone meant that I could not visit the pages from which the images were sourced.

It was not until 15 April 2007 that I thought to search for the very subject of one of my childhood fantasies - the 'Mario Meets Koopzilla' episode of the Super Mario Bros. cartoon - by using the search terms "King Koopa feet". To my surprise, I stumbled across an exact word-for-word match: an image entitled "King Koopa Feet" (by Teaselbone) which showed King Koopa on a throne with his feet propped perfectly at the forefront. The image was so perfect for my tastes that I couldn't understand why on earth anyone else would be motivated to draw such a thing.

Thankfully, my phone was capable of accessing the site in question, and to my astonishment, I found a vast array of images involving reptilian feet, all with elements of worship and stomping much like in my fantasies.

What I had actually discovered was the Artwork page of BigClawZ - the first site I had ever found dedicated to exactly the same sexual fetishes which I had felt so ashamed and alone with for my entire life.

To my great fortune, within 24 hours of this discovery, my brother's decision to buy a new laptop granted me the exclusive use of his old desktop computer, complete with internet access. The following day on 16 April, I registered an account on the BigClawz forum under the name RipRoarRex.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Does anyone who knows you personally know you have these fetishes, like your family/friends?

No - or at least not as far as I'm aware. And I would very much like to keep it that way! The only people who know of my fetishes are those who know me on the internet as RipRoarRex.

What sort of animals/characters are you attracted to?

As said before, my preferences and interests concerning these fetishes vary considerably, often depending on my moods at given times but also upon how well a particular animal or character is suited to a particular scenario.

I would say that my strongest sexual preference is for dinosaurs and scaly characters, though there are a considerable number of different species which I have experienced some form of attraction to in this context - including (but not limited to):

  • Dinosaur - therapods (e.g. T-rex, raptor), sauropods; anthro and non-anthro
  • Dragon - anthro and non-anthro
  • Other reptiles - e.g. crocodiles, lizards; anthro and non-anthro
  • Canid - e.g. dogs, wolves, foxes; anthro and non-anthro
  • Feline - e.g. lions, tigers; anthro and non-anthro
  • Horse - anthro and non-anthro
  • Elephant - usually only non-anthro, but sometimes anthro
  • Bird - e.g. eagles, hawks, ducks, gulls; anthro and non-anthro
  • Bear - anthro and non-anthro
  • Rhinoceros
  • Kangaroo
  • Rabbit - anthro only
  • Camel
  • Aliens/Monsters

Are you straight or gay in real life?

Straight, actually - even though most of my work relates to male/gay fantasies.

In fact, from what I have seen around the fandom, it is actually relatively common for sexuality preferences to become somewhat blurred or altered within a furry context - people who are heterosexual in real life can find themselves attracted to the same sex where a furry character is involved, and possibly vice versa. I am not sure of the reasons behind this, but it may relate to the characteristics of strength/power one associates with either sex, or perhaps merely that the removal of the human element changes our perceptions of each gender.

About my artwork

When did you start drawing?

I have always been interested in art and drawing has been one of my hobbies ever since I was a young child, though my main interest was in drawing landscapes, buildings or vehicles - I almost never drew animals or any kind of biological anatomy.

I studied art at GCSE and A-Level at school, obtaining both qualifications, as well as drawing pictures in my spare time. I also began to dabble in using software to create pictures, though with very little serious intent or indeed success. It was not until I joined the furry fandom in 2007 that I took up digital artwork (and occasionally animation) on a more serious level, and my ability to work with graphics software has improved dramatically over the years since then - as, indeed, has my understanding of how to draw anatomy.

Drawing has, however, only ever been a hobby for me. I have never pursued it as a career, nor do I intend to.

How did you come up with your characters?

With the exception of the human giant picture mentioned earlier, I did not begin drawing material relating to my fetishes until around 2000. One of the earliest fetish pictures I remember drawing involved a camel trampling a snake - an idea influenced by seeing a cartoon involving something similar. I also drew various other scenarios involving feral creatures - wolves, rhinos and dinosaurs among the examples I can specifically recall.

I did not begin drawing distinctive anthropomorphic characters until 2002, at which point I came up with an early form of anthrosaur design which incorporated elements of the feral therapods I had drawn before, albeit with considerable anatomical errors. The design in question is the earliest I would consider to be representative of 'Rexar', though for a long time, his character was much more of a loose concept rather than a physical shape, hence there were several designs which I think of as related predecessors to the current design of Rexar. Similarly, early distinctive forms of Tydo, Cassie, Mike and Skyra were to follow, along with all of my other characters.

More information about how I developed each of my characters can be found on their respective character profile pages - see the Character Gallery.

Do you keep your fetish art secret from your family and friends?

Absolutely. Given that these drawings were specifically created to satisfy fetishes that I have no desire to reveal to anybody, I have always kept them hidden from anyone else and would store them in secret places at home. However, owing to some 'near misses' involving my family during my early teens, I soon became so obsessed and petrified of anybody finding them that I folded all my drawings into my pocket and carried them around everywhere I went - at home, at school, visiting relatives and just about anywhere else.

It was, in hindsight, an utterly insane and potentially suicidal solution to the problem. For all my fears about my family finding my pictures, many were the occasions that one of my drawings would fall out of my pocket at school, or I would have to regularly finger through my pocket to count whether all of my drawings were still there - and give myself near heart attacks every time I miscounted.

While it has been many years since I stopped this ridiculous practice and became much more laid back about my approach to keeping my work under wraps, I still keep my drawings secretly stashed away in my home, periodically clearing out and disposing of any old pictures that have already been uploaded to my computer.

And if you're wondering, there have been moments where I have been careless enough for one of my relatives to discover a drawing that I have accidentally left on show somewhere - though thankfully none of them have as yet been so 'incriminating' to prevent me being able to nonchalantly talk my way out of explaining them!

How do you create your pictures and animations?

Historically, almost all of my pictures started out as pencil drawings on paper, with only a few exceptions that were drawn straight into digital format using a graphics tablet - though I am now increasingly working exclusively in digital form.

Generally I begin with a rough sketch to 'test' whether the idea will work based on the perspective and arrangement that I wish to use. Then I begin to develop it more precisely through a number of working drafts before either completing one, or more commonly, tracing the last draft to produce a clean, polished final drawing. From there, I upload my image to my PC using a scanner (if it's on paper, obviously) and colour it in a graphic editing package.

With animation, I always work in a purely digital environment, drawing everything straight into an animation package using my graphics tablet. Any sounds or voices are either recorded or sourced from the internet or film/TV and edited using various audio/video packages.

More information about the software/hardware that I use and my artistic processes and techniques can be found on my Tutorials page.

Do you take art requests/trades/commissions?

Not any more, I'm afraid. I used to take requests, but regretfully my workload became too great and I could not find sufficient time or motivation to complete the requests I received, so I stopped taking them in May 2010.

As such, I also do not take commissions and I generally refrain from doing trades, largely because I do not wish to disappoint anyone if I am unable to hold up my end of the agreement or complete work to a below-par standard.

At this point in time, I do not currently have any plans to start taking requests, trades or commissions again either.

I have been known to occasionally produce gift pictures for friends of mine, though this is very much something I do only when I personally wish to, and only for people whom I particularly wish to do so. As such, please do not come to me begging for me to make a picture for you - it is something that I can find somewhat irritating if done persistently, especially when it comes from complete strangers whom I have never spoken with before.

Where can I find your art/animations?

All of the digital artwork and animations I produce are uploaded to this site (minus a few rough sketches and scraps). I also upload pretty much everything I create to my Fur Affinity page, as well as uploading a few select pieces to Lava Dome Five and my Twitter account.

Links to these sites and profiles can be found on the Links and Contact pages.

Other Frequently Asked Questions

Do you use Discord/Telegram/WhatsApp?

Not at the moment, I'm afraid. I have generally stopped using IMs or forums, but I may well sign up to one or more of the above services at some point - if I do, I'll update this page as soon as possible.

In any case, you are always welcome to email me or send a message to one of my community profiles - see the Contact page for details.

Do you role-play?

Sorry, but I do not role-play in any shape or form. I am not particularly interested in role-play as an activity.

Can we meet in person?

No, I'm afraid this is not something I am prepared to do at present. As I say, I prefer to maintain a discrete distance between my real everyday life and my activities on the web under my RipRoarRex alias, simply because I do not particularly want paths to cross on either side of the divide. I don't want my family or friends to know about the things I do in secret, and I wouldn't much like anybody in the furry fandom spreading information on the internet about who I am.

Please do not take offence to this though. It is not that I dislike my friends in the fandom or have no trust in them. It is merely a personal belief and preference of mine.

Can I draw one of your characters or write a story involving them?

Absolutely. I personally find it very flattering when I discover someone else has created something involving one of my characters!

I do appreciate being contacted in advance of any such work being carried out, though this is by no means compulsory. All I do ask however is that somewhere on your picture or within the text of your story (or on the site where you upload them), you reference the character in question as being (c) RipRoarRex - ideally with a link to my profile or my website.
