About Hux
On the whole, it would probably be fair to say that elephants constitute gentle giants; only severe provocation would unleash any element of hostility in their power. In Hux's case however, no such provocation is required. One would struggle to find a more moody, antisocial creature in the whole African continent than Hux, whose life consists largely of taking out his anger on whoever and whatever he finds in his way. The cause of Hux's unrelenting frustration is unknown - perhaps he grew up being humiliated in a circus; perhaps he has been persistently targeted by poachers; perhaps he is just in a permanent state of musth. Whatever it is, no-one should ever attempt to confront him about it - that is unless one wishes to become a statistic in the history of elephant trampling incidents.

As one browses the gargantuan amounts of macrophilic material on the world wide web, it has to be said that despite being the planet's largest land-roaming creatures currently in existence, their power and size has seldom been exploited by those who desire subjects with such qualities. For me personally, I find this a mystery that is difficult to explain - Hux has been a part of my personal macrophilic artwork since about 2005, maintaining the same moody persona throughout, and has therefore come to resemble one of my favourite dominant forms. I had made little effort for much of this time to specify Hux's breed, but the superior size and weight of the African variety in comparison to their Indian relatives makes the former a more attractive subject, and therefore resulted in a more distinctive physical definition of the character by 2007. As far as Hux's historical activities are concerned, little has changed - in the past, Hux has been drawn stomping many animals, but has also frequently been depicted eating some of them too, regardless of his herbivorous nature.

Let it be said now - there are not enough elephants out there in the macro universe! Who's with me? "Hurrah!!"
