There are some animals for whom hunting is not a necessity - it's a hobby.

Skyra is one such creature that delights in the game of the hunt. From the first lustful sight of prey, to the thrill of the chase, to the ultimate primal satisfaction of the kill and the reward of the meal, he loves every single moment of it.

Much to the misfortune of those that happen to be caught in his watchful gaze atop his mountain home, Skyra is gifted with all the traits one would expect of one of nature's most impressive predators: broad, powerful wings, a tough, sharp beak, and immensely strong talons decorated with rings of gold and bronze, rumoured to be a trophy taken from one of his larger victims. An accomplished and experienced hunter, he revels in his sense of command and superiority over all other birds around him, many of which he has also developed a taste for.

But by far his favourite prey is the humble mouse. Not that they are necessarily the most delectable of animals or even provide any real sustenance for him - he simply finds their terror to be a great deal of fun.

Although relatively little artwork of Skyra currently exists, he is in fact one of my earliest creations, first appearing in my artwork in around early 2003. Other than his two talon rings - added sometime in 2007 - he is a fairly standard model of an American bald eagle acting within a purely natural environment, much like my other feral characters.

One notable aspect of Skyra's presence within my collection of characters is that, unlike the rest, I have perhaps utilised him more frequently for vore scenarios over the years than for anything else. Due to his relative size however, he never appears in scenario artwork with my other characters. As such, the submissive roles within these images are usually filled by mice and other small generic animals suitable for his diet.
