It's a tough and lonely life out on the plains. Resources are pretty scarce, and with limited water during the lengthy summer droughts, even bathing becomes a luxury. Fortunately Carlos knows that with a little persuasion, he can always find some feeble creature whose tongue will fulfil the same purpose at the end of a long, hot day.
